Job Summary:

You will work independently and be responsible for the setting up and operation of a slitting machine producing packaging products in bag or roll stock form (per customer preference).

Essential Functions:

  • Set up and operate designated machinery as efficiently as possible; training will be provided
  • Must be able to read ruler, tape measure, as this is critical for machine set ups (complex measurement calculations may vary)
  • Must be able to read & understand the customer’s job order instruction and set the specifications per job accordingly
  • Must be alert & work efficiently keeping downtime & waste to a minimum
  • Maintain the equipment in great condition & always practice safe operation steps
  • Schedule: Must be able to eventually work 12-hour shifts (two days on, two days off with lots of opportunities for additional overtime) but will start Monday -Thursday 10-hour shift
  • Your work will be overseen by the supervisor & department manager for support

Position Info:

  • Night Shift Monday – Thursday 4:00pm – 2:00 am
