Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Short Order Cook to prepare high-quality items quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is experienced in working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, can multitask effectively, and maintains a clean and organized work area. You'll be responsible for cooking made-to-order breakfast dishes including eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausages, toast, and more, ensuring each order is accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook breakfast menu items to order, including eggs (scrambled, fried, poached, etc.), pancakes, waffles, French toast, breakfast meats, potatoes, and sandwiches
  • Operate griddles, fryers, toasters, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining cleanliness of workstations at all times
  • Prep ingredients and restock the cook line before and during shifts
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
  • Monitor food portions and waste to control costs
  • Accommodate special dietary needs and custom orders with accuracy
  • Maintain a sense of urgency during peak hours
