What you bring to the table
  • Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
  • Maintain proper par levels of food items in assigned cooking areas to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Store and handle all products in full compliance with Oregon Food Safety regulations.
  • Execute chef-driven specials with precision and creativity.
  • Cook menu items to order using a variety of equipment including grills, fryers, ovens, steam tables, and other specialized tools as needed.
  • Assist the expeditor in final plating to guarantee presentation standards are met.
  • Keep the kitchen clean and organized, with direct responsibility for maintaining a sanitary workstation during and after shifts.
  • Support stewarding functions when needed to contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness.
  • Assist with prep duties for the main kitchen as directed.
  • Complete and maintain accurate temperature logs and food transfer documentation.
  • Perform recipe conversions and adjustments as required.
  • Properly use, clean, and maintain all equipment within assigned stations.
  • Prep, stock, and replenish items as needed to support continuous service throughout the shift.
  • Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)

  • One (1) year prior experience as a full-service line cook preferred.
  • Must obtain a current Food Handler's Card.

  • Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug free workplace policies.
