Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team in Bensenville, Illinois. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for coordinating and managing the shipment of products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all shipping activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure orders are picked, packed, and ready for shipment on schedule.
  • Verify shipment contents against orders and packing lists to ensure accuracy.
  • Schedule and communicate with freight carriers and shipping companies to arrange pickups and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, tracking information, and inventory adjustments.
  • Inspect outgoing shipments for proper packaging and labeling to prevent damage during transit.
  • Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies and issues with carriers or customers.
  • Comply with company policies and safety regulations related to shipping and handling.
