Job description

SUMMARY OF FUNCTION

Our SHIPPING ANALYST must ensure accurate and timely deliveries of after sales parts by managing the entire after sales supply chain (purchasing, production planning, shipping, and invoicing).



ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare accurate JIT/Forecast data to ensure materials and planning are accurate.
  • Ensure that processes and programs are in place and operating efficiently to guarantee timely receipt of all customer requirements.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of data existing in the shipping systems – part numbers, BOM, quantity, codes, etc.
  • Customer invoice verification, shipping result confirmation, and daily closing.
  • Manage transportation related programs concerning deliveries to customers.
  • Lead Production/QC/Engineering teams to meet urgent requests from Customers and resolve issues in Shipping.

Additional Duties specific to RDC Shipping Analyst

  • Work with MP&L team to make sure ordered parts are received on time from suppliers
  • Create weekly and monthly reports related RDC shipping completion
  • Responsible for leading meetings with Mobis RDC representatives on a weekly basis (Korean).


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


  1. BS in related field preferred.
  2. Minimum of two years’ experience in shipping preferred.
  3. Excellent communication skills in English and Korean (bilingual) preferred
  4. Must be fully functional with basic Computer skills (Excel, Word, Email, etc.)
  5. Experience working at least two years in some MRP system (SAP, ERP, etc.) preferred.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS


  • Must be able to lift up to 35lbs
  • Must be able to stand for up to 5 hours a day
  • Must be ok with frequent bending or reaching arms forward/above the shoulders.
  • Must be able to push or pull around 50 lbs (carts)
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to stay focused for extended periods of time
  • Ability to analyst information, identify problems, and provide solutions.
