What You'll Do:

Lead daily shipping and receiving operations to support production schedules, customer deliveries, and inventory accuracy.

  • Supervise Shipping & Receiving Team Leads and associates to ensure operational goals, safety standards, and quality expectations are consistently met.
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including scheduling transportation, tracking deliveries, and managing outbound orders through SAP.
  • Oversee receiving activities including inventory verification, goods receipt processing, and material put-away operations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Production, Purchasing, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure smooth material flow and shipment execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on warehouse efficiency, shipping accuracy, and process optimization.
  • Train, coach, and support employees on SOPs, safety procedures, warehouse operations, and shipping best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO, QMS, OSHA, and company policies and procedures.
  • Perform outbound freight audits to ensure accurate product shipments prior to release.
  • Verify product numbers and shipment quantities against packing lists and shipping documentation.
  • Conduct visual inspections of outbound freight to identify damage or packaging concerns before shipments leave the facility.
  • Maintain high standards for shipment accuracy, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2-year business or technical degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or logistics operations.
  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing or regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of cGMP, ISO, quality systems, and compliance standards.
  • Understanding of Lean manufacturing and 6S principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage schedules, and support production demands.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to support technical problem-solving activities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong sense of urgency and accountability.
