Job description

Shipping & Receiving Supervisor
Step into an exciting opportunity as a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor at Romac. In this role, you'll support the Shipping & Receiving team by helping to schedule work, assist with hiring decisions, and provide input on employee performance and development. You'll play a key part in maintaining safety, productivity, and quality standards within the department, while also helping to ensure fair application of workplace policies. You may recommend improvements to equipment, staffing, and processes and help Romac continue shaping the future of sustainable water distribution.
Hours: Mon-Thurs 5:00am-3:30pm, rotating Friday from 8am-12pm
What You'll Do
  • Oversee department workforce.
  • Maintain a safe work environment with the goal of having zero work-related injuries. Know and follow all safety procedures.
  • Understand and manufacture according to Romac's production system and meet stated productivity goals.
  • Understand and follow the concepts of the Theory of Constraints and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Coach, train, and develop personnel.
  • Understand and enforce all company policies fairly and consistently.

What You'll Bring
  • 2+ years of shop floor working experience at Romac as an Assistant Supervisor or Lead or 4+ years of similar outside workplace experience
  • Ability to lead, coach, and delegate
  • Strong communication, typing, math, and computer skills
  • Possess or can obtain a CPR and Industrial First Aid certificate
  • Possess at least a limited blueprint reading ability

Base Compensation Range: Compensation offered will be based on a variety of individual factors, including education and experience, as well as internal equity. Our salary ranges are reviewed and updated each year and employees are eligible for pay increases based on individual performance.
