Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

  • Serve as the support administrator for key item management systems to include user setup and maintenance as directed by system owner.
  • Ensure that each of the systems are properly functioning and interfacing with upstream and downstream applications through issue resolution and research.
  • Ensure that each of the systems remain in sync and investigate any discrepancies identified via exception reports and user feedback.
  • Provide assistance to user in response to data errors and training opportunities.
  • Investigate, research, and resolve all data integrity issues as identified by stores or internal departments.
  • Provides training to Data Integrity Clerks for identified errors and best practices.
  • Support Data Integrity Clerks with setup and maintenance issues for all new items that have been approved by the Merchandising Teams. This includes support/resolution with questions regarding the business rules established by the subject matter experts to comply with all Regulatory laws (Tax, Food Stamps, WIC, age restricted products) in the states Weis Markets operates. Knowledge of all required item attributes for perishable and non-perishable categories is required.
  • Supports the Data Integrity Clerks with data entry corrections using data validation reports.
  • Act as key Data Integrity representative on DSD/Warehouse Vendor conversions.
  • Responsible for functionality testing and validation for planned system upgrades.

OCCASIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

  • Respond and resolve store support questions to provide quick resolution to store and customer.
  • Miscellaneous work and seasonal demands from management as requested. Assist with Special Projects as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:

Education and/or Experience

College degree or five (5) years relevant experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations to customers, clients, and other associates. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw, and interpret bar graphs.
