Job description

Culinary Operations Administrator - Private School

SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a reliable Culinary Operations Administrator for a private school dining hall in Tampa. In this role, you will assist the manager with processing invoices and managing paperwork related to daily meal service, catering, and other office duties. During peak meal periods, you'll also help to ensure that students move quickly through the line, while supporting the front-of-house team to verify that all marketing and pricing is accurate.

Schedule:

- Monday through Friday

- Some evenings and weekends for catering events, with advance notice

This position is ideal for someone looking to work weekday hours that align with a school schedule and enjoy summers off. It is also a great opportunity to start a career in food service and gain valuable insights into food service operations.

Pay Type:

$25.00 - $30.00 Hourly

What You'll Do:
  • Aid the Food Service Director with administrative and office support tasks to facilitate efficient operations.
  • Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and provide service with a smile.
  • Scan, print, and copy documents.
  • Make signage and labels.
  • Work with all of SAGE's software systems.
  • Maintain accurate files.
  • Maintain office supply inventories.
  • Ensure that tablet signage is accurate.
  • Assist in training new Team Members.
  • Adapt to additional duties as assigned by management.
What You'll Need:
  • Ability to follow and give oral and written instructions.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Proficient computer skills, including internet, email, word processing, and file management required.
  • Ability to carry out job functions with high energy and a positive attitude.
