Job description

ElectraCraft Power Boats wants YOU to join the company! We are currently looking for someone to work FULL TIME in a fun working environment and help repair boats, this job is for you!

As our service mechanic, you will be responsible for helping our service department fix, repair, and diagnose mechanical/electrical issues. Duties will include diagnosis and repair of electric boats, spot checking repairs to assure quality of workmanship, and managing assigned work.

Jobs expected to be done can include but not limited to:

-bottom paint of boats

-battery install

-wiring

-drive work

-buff and wax


Our Service Mechanic will strive to make each customer interaction one that will create long-term, returning customers. We are looking for someone who is teachable and is a team player.

To be successful in this position you will need: a can-do attitude, dependable, the ability to multitask, the ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines and schedules, and high attention to detail. Education and Experience:
o High school diploma or GED required, and equivalent experience desired.
o Must have a California driver’s License and a clean driving record and have experience towing trailers.
o Must be highly self-motivated and take pride in your work.
o Experience driving/towing trailers is a plus!
o Personal or professional boating experience is a plus!
Compensation: TBD, depending on experience ($20/hour-$25/hour)
