Job Title: Heavy Duty Cummins Truck Mechanic
Our dealership is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Duty Cummins Truck mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Duty Truck mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks, with a focus on engine and transmission work, and other mechanical duties.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair engine and transmission issues on heavy duty trucks
- Perform routine maintenance on trucks, including oil changes and brake inspections
- Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot problems
- Communicate with customers regarding repairs and maintenance needed
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 years of experience working on heavy duty trucks
- Certifications in Cummins
- Strong knowledge of engine and transmission systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
