Job description

Job Summary:
Senior Helpers Melbourne is seeking a compassionate and dependable Spanish-speaking caregiver to provide quality in-home care and companionship to seniors. The caregiver will assist clients with daily activities, ensuring comfort, safety, and respect while communicating effectively in both Spanish and English.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, etc.)

  • Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation

  • Offer companionship and emotional support

  • Accompany clients to appointments or errands if needed

  • Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition to the office

  • Communicate clearly with clients, families, and team members in Spanish and English

Qualifications:

  • Must speak and understand Spanish and English

  • Previous caregiving experience preferred

  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable

  • Must pass background screening and have valid work authorization
