Medical Assistant – Bilingual (Spanish)

About Us
Front Street Medical is an established multi-specialty practice providing Primary Care, Physical Therapy, and Chiropractic services. We are seeking dependable, energetic, and compassionate Medical Assistants to join our growing team in Hempstead and Lindenhurst.
The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), works well in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities:
  • Patient intake and medical histories.
  • Measure and document vital signs.
  • Perform EKGs.
  • Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.
  • Prepare examination rooms and patients for treatment.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
  • Enter patient information accurately into EMR systems.
  • Administer injections and medications as directed by the provider.
  • Process laboratory orders and results.
  • Maintain medical records and documentation.
  • Provide patient education and instructions.
  • Assist with scheduling and patient flow when needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
  • Follow HIPAA and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:
  • Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
  • Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred.
  • EKG experience required.
  • Experience in Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Urgent Care, or Multi-Specialty practices preferred.
  • Strong computer and EMR skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient service skills.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish required.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
