The commodities research team delivers global trade flows data, other market data, provides fundamental forecasts of supply, demand and prices. Our clients include producers, importers, distribution companies, trading houses and financial institutions.Additional job description summaryThe role involves data collection and manipulation, quantitative and qualitative analysis. The candidate will also be expected to develop excel and Power BI models along with power point documents based on our research and datasets. The candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player, but, given the nature of the role, should be also capable of working independently and with minimal supervision.Responsibilities:Responsible for maintaining and develop market modelsImprove content and design of our Workspace-based analytical tools, charts, and tablesCommunicate market insight in reports and presentationsMakes recommendations that may shape operational strategy.Determines the nature of complex or undefined problems; independently identifies the best solution from many alternatives.Escalates higher risk or more unique problems.Decisions require interpretive thinking and some judgment in developing solutionsQualifications:A bachelor’s degree holder from a reputable university.
