Overview
The Real Estate Research Analyst is a key partner to leadership and sales professionals, providing strategic guidance through comprehensive market analysis and data-driven insights. This role plays a consultative function-supporting business planning, client targeting, and investment decisions by delivering actionable research and proprietary recommendations. The Research Analyst is relied upon to think critically, draw meaningful conclusions from complex data, and shape both client-facing strategies and internal decision-making.
Location: Indianapolis, IN (This is a hybrid role, working 4 days in our office located in Indianapolis and one day remote).
Reports to: Director of Brokerage Performance & Research
Key Responsibilities
Market Intelligence & Data Collection
  • Research and compile comprehensive market data, including comparable properties and commercial real estate transactions
  • Monitor and analyze commercial property transactions, leasing activity, absorption rates, rental trends, and new developments within Bradley markets
  • Participate in sales meetings and market discussions to identify emerging trends and industry developments

Research Analysis & Reporting
  • Create compelling, client-ready research deliverables, custom data visualizations, and executive-level summaries
  • Develop research content that strengthens pitches, proposals, and marketing initiatives
  • Deliver real-time data support to brokerage professionals for client presentations, property valuations, and strategic planning
  • Interpret complex data sets and market trends to independently develop strategic recommendations that inform pricing, positioning, client targeting, and go-to-market strategies

Database Management & Technical Research
  • Input and maintain comparable transaction data from external sources and databases
  • Leverage industry platforms including CoStar, Crexi, LoopNet, REGIS, Real Capital Analytics, ESRI, and internal CRM systems
  • Compile comprehensive property profiles including building specifications, land details, tax assessments, valuations, and zoning information
  • Generate demographic analyses and mapping reports using specialized software
  • Develop and refine internal processes and standards for data analysis and reporting

Client Support & Collaboration
  • Provide responsive internal customer service to sales teams and stakeholders
  • Deliver high-quality research under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Support cross-functional teams with data-driven insights and market intelligence

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business needs and contribute to team success.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, real estate, or a related analytical or quantitative field required
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in market research, real estate, or data analysis, supporting high-performing sales or brokerage teams

Skills & Competencies
  • Proficiency with market research platforms such as CoStar, Crexi, LoopNet, and ESRI
  • Experience utilizing data analysis and visualization tools, including GIS mapping and demographic analysis
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret data, identify trends, and deliver strategic insights through compelling data visualization and storytelling
  • Ability to make informed decisions and provide actionable recommendations with minimal oversight
  • Business-minded with a strong interest in commercial real estate markets and economic drivers
  • Advanced skills in organizing, analyzing, and synthesizing data from multiple sources to support business development and client reporting
  • Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills; able to build rapport across departments and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and proactive in expanding knowledge and improving processes
