About the Role

The Research Analyst supports the Firm's attorneys and business professionals by conducting highvalue legal, business, and industry research using a broad range of digital databases and specialized resources. In addition, Research Analysts serve as subjectmatter experts in the use of AIpowered research tools, educating attorneys on effective and responsible adoption, validating AIgenerated outputs, and integrating these technologies into research workflows to improve accuracy, efficiency, and overall productivity.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Deliver timely, high quality legal and business research to attorneys and business professionals across the firm; bill research time to client matters as appropriate.
  • Monitor news, litigation, and legislative/regulatory developments and contribute to alerts, updates, newsletters, and internal communications.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of digital research platforms, print collections, interlibrary loan, and document delivery services, including advanced search strategies and licensing requirements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in AI powered research tools, educating users on responsible adoption, validating outputs, and integrating tools into research workflows.
  • Act as a research liaison to assigned practice groups, business professional teams, or topical areas, providing targeted support and expertise.
  • Collaborate with department leadership on research tool evaluation, intranet content, process improvements, and special projects; adhere to service standards and workflows.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to professionalism, delivering high-quality service, and maintaining a positive, solution-oriented ("can-do") approach. Effectively supports internal departments, external clients, and vendors through clear, courteous communication via electronic correspondence, telephone, and in-person interactions.
