About Alchemer

Founded in 2006, Alchemer is a powerful survey and data insights platform that empowers business professionals to make informed decisions. • Identify technical risks early and partner with Sales to shape deal strategy and qualification
  • Architect end-to-end Alchemer solutions spanning configuration, integrations, APIs, data pipelines, and reporting layers
  • Design advanced, multi-use-case solutions aligned to enterprise requirements and scalability needs
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Professional Services, and Security to validate feasibility and ensure architectural continuity from pre-sale to implementation
  • Design and deliver tailored, enterprise-grade demos and proof-of-concepts tied directly to customer business outcomes
  • Establish and define technical close criteria to prevent stalled or open-ended PoCs
  • Clearly articulate trade-offs, architecture decisions, and ROI in both technical and executive-facing conversations
  • Partner with Sales to shape value narratives, competitive positioning, and technical win strategies for complex deals
  • Lead technical responses for RFPs, security questionnaires, and architecture reviews
  • Independently manage standard InfoSec and security conversations, including data handling and integration discussions
  • Bring structured field feedback to Product and GTM teams to inform roadmap prioritization and messaging
  • Create reusable demo assets, frameworks, or enablement materials that scale across the Solutions Engineering organization
  • Mentor and coach junior Solutions Engineers on discovery, demos, and technical storytelling
  • Lead technical handoffs to Implementation and Professional Services teams, ensuring clarity on architecture, integrations, and success criteria
  • Partner with Customer Success to support long-term technical alignment and customer outcomes

What Success Looks Like in this Role

  • Increased win rates on complex and enterprise opportunities through strong technical leadership
  • Shorter, more predictable sales cycles driven by clear discovery and defined technical close criteria
  • High confidence from Sales, customers, and internal teams in Alchemer's technical and architectural capabilities
  • Measurable impact on team effectiveness through mentorship, reusable assets, and process improvements

What You Bring to this Role

  • 3-5+ years in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or Technical Pre-Sales role
  • Experience supporting mid-market to enterprise SaaS sales cycles
  • Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, enterprise data workflows, and SaaS architectures
  • Proven ability to lead discovery, demos, and proofs-of-concept independently
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and executive storytelling skills, both remote and in person

Preferred skills

  • Experience with experience management (XM), VoC, VoE, survey, or workflow automation platforms
  • Hands-on familiarity with JavaScript, APIs, data structures, and integration patterns
  • Experience handling security reviews, InfoSec questionnaires, or enterprise IT stakeholders
  • Consulting background or exposure to value-based selling methodologies
