As a Senior Reliability Engineer you will provides reliability, technical, and engineering services to optimize fixed and rotating equipment life in a safe and effective manner..

  • Provide technical assistance in resolving equipment design, operation, and maintenance problems.
  • Assistsin formulating, implementing, maintaining, and auditing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Diagnostic Maintenance (PDM) programs.
  • Assist Operations, Product Control, and Maintenance Departments in developing procedures, training, and processes to ensure equipment is operated within its design parameters.
  • Advise engineering on new capital designs and installations to ensure that equipment reliability, operability, and maintainability are addressed.
  • Develop and review equipment specifications and standards for reliability improvement.
  • Develop and track cost justifications for reliability improvement.
  • Provide Refinery support during planned and unplanned outages, including availability to respond to and support critical business needs during off-hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Performs all duties following the safety rules and guidelines established by the Refinery.

This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.

Qualifications
  • Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at the Valero Ardmore Refinery, required.
  • Bachelor’s or higher level degree in Engineering required.
  • 5 years of engineering experience in reliability or maintenance required.
Preferred Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or higher level degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
