ABOUT YOU

As an IT Senior Project Manager, you are a structured, strategic thinker who takes ownership of complex technology initiatives and sees them through with discipline, clarity, and accountability. You are comfortable balancing technical detail with organizational realities, making sound recommendations that consider long term sustainability and value. You collaborate naturally across teams, communicate clearly with both technical and executive audiences, and translate needs into solutions that improve how the organization works. Calm under pressure and highly organized, you thrive in visible environments where thoughtful planning, strong governance, and trusted leadership are essential.

What you will do:

  • Leads endtoend delivery of IT programs and projects, translating business needs into wellscoped, wellgoverned solutions delivered on time and within budget.
  • Aligns technology with organizational goals, collaborating closely with operating units, IT teams, and leadership to ensure solutions integrate seamlessly with standards, systems, and processes.
  • Provides confident leadership and technical guidance, communicating clearly with stakeholders at all levels and supporting project teams through sound judgment and collaboration.
  • Ensures strong financial stewardship, managing capital and operating budgets with a totalcostofownership mindset to deliver sustainable, longterm value from technology investments.

What you offer:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience leading IT project management efforts, including largescale, highimpact programs; experience in transportation is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multidisciplinary projects through all phases of implementation, including planning, design, and delivery; PMP certification strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, budget, and people management skills, with working knowledge of budgetary practices and familiarity with the Massachusetts public bidding process preferred.
