The Boeing Company is looking for a Program Administrator Senior Manager to join our IAM Boeing Joint Programs Apprenticeship team in Auburn, WA.

Established in 1989 IAM/Boeing Joint Programs is a labor/management partnership where our leadership, our staff and our services all reflect a balanced partnership between the International Association of Machinist (IAM) Union and the Boeing Company. Together we are dedicated to improving the health, safety and educational opportunities for IAM-represented employees in the Puget Sound and Portland.

The ideal candidate will champion the organization's partnership, priorities, mission and vision, recognize its history, and strive to transform its future. This individual will be proactive, an engaged self-starter, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently. Program Administrators are critical links to our customer base, so the ability and desire to establish a robust network across their assigned space is a must.

This senior leader position requires a leader who can work hand in hand with their partner toset high expectations for their team, collaboratively perform their statement of work, effectively partner across teams, levels, functions and organizations to drive improvements, consistency, and a strong culture of respect.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage employees and first-level managers performing activities to plan, design, deliver and maintain IAM Joint Program projects to improve the technical competence of the workforce
  • Develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provide input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals or objectives
  • Acquire resources for department activities, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manage, develop and motivate employees and first-level managers

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication
  • 5+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans and/or executing strategies and managing projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience leading direct-reports through projects or activities
  • Participation in IAM/Boeing Joint Programs activities
  • Experience coaching and developing others
