Expected pay for this position is $21.45 - $25.70/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
$2.50/hr night shift differential
$1.75/hr weekend differential
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Licenses/Certifications CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant
Other Licenses/Certifications CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Six months experience in a clinical healthcare environment
Six months experience in supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of patients
