Job description

Join a dynamic team that's revolutionizing the future of grocery retail at Amazon. As a Sr. Program Manager for Change Management, you'll lead strategic initiatives that transform our physical retail spaces in Whole Foods Market locations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovation while ensuring seamless execution of store modifications that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Key job responsibilities
-Lead end-to-end management of store change requests, from initial assessment through implementation
-Develop and optimize change management processes while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
-Analyze business cases and financial impacts for proposed store modifications
-Drive cross-functional collaboration with Design, Construction, Finance, and Operations teams
-Present recommendations and progress updates to senior leadership
A day in the life
Your day might begin with reviewing proposed store modifications & program changes with partner teams. You'll analyze the business impact of these changes, create detailed project plans, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth execution. Throughout the day, you'll monitor ongoing projects, resolve challenges, and ensure all modifications align with our customer-first approach. You'll also spend time developing presentation materials for leadership reviews and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize our change management processes.

The Retail Growth and Development team is passionate about creating exceptional shopping experiences through innovative store design and strategic improvements. We're responsible for planning, designing, and maintaining Amazon's grocery retail locations across the globe. Our team combines retail expertise with data-driven decision-making to continuously enhance our stores' physical environments. We value diverse perspectives and encourage creative problem-solving to drive results that matter to our customers and communities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
