The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for supporting various life sciences product lines and sites. The candidate will be responsible for completing projects on time while adhering to the Beckman quality and engineering standards. The candidate will be responsible for working on a variety of projects ranging from supply gap issues, component obsolescence, and product supplier transitions.
This position reports to the Global Procurement Resiliency Engineering Manager and is part of the Global Procurement team located in Indianapolis, IN and will be fully onsite.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in product development and product engineering support roles or 3+ years of experience with a master's degree.
  • Experience working on a team with multiple disciplines to solve identified problems.
  • Experience with analog and digital circuits.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Dealing with design changes in a structured design control/change environment for medical devices.
  • Working with microcontrollers and programmable logic devices, including developing embedded code.
  • Using Cadence or CAD and Allegro for schematic capture and board layout.
