The Sr. Digital Strategist supports the development and evolution of integrated digital and AI-enabled marketing strategies for clients across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. This role blends strong strategic thinking with a working understanding of CRM, omnichannel, and digital performance data to help drive informed decision-making and meaningful business impact.

The Senior Digital Strategist focuses on interpreting insights, identifying patterns and behavioral trends, and translating data into strategic recommendations that guide campaign direction and optimization.

Position Overview

As a senior individual contributor, you will contribute to the strategic direction of digital and omnichannel programs, ensuring data and analytics inform planning, measurement, and optimization throughout the campaign lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across strategy, analytics, media, creative, and technology to support personalization initiatives and channel strategy.

You will help articulate the "why” behind performance results and support both internal teams and clients in understanding the strategic implications of insights.

Key Responsibilities

1. Omnichannel Strategy

  • Lead the execution and ongoing optimization of integrated omnichannel strategies across channels such as web, CRM, email, and content ecosystems.
  • Help align digital strategies with brand objectives, healthcare regulations, and omnichannel best practices.
  • Support strategic consistency across planning, activation, and optimization efforts.

2. Insight Development and Analytics Collaboration

  • Analyze CRM data, dashboards, and cross-channel KPIs to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Partner with analytics teams and external media partners to ensure measurement approaches align with strategic goals.
  • Translate data into clear insights and recommendations that inform ongoing strategy.

3. Healthcare Strategy and Personalization

  • Support personalization strategies, including audience frameworks, dynamic content considerations, and behavioral triggers.
  • Help bridge healthcare data with practical digital strategy recommendations.
  • HCP client experience required.

4. AI-Enabled Strategic Exploration

  • Use AI tools to support strategic thinking, insight development, and exploratory analysis.
  • Leverage generative AI to inform content strategy considerations, testing approaches, and idea generation.
  • Stay informed on emerging AI-driven marketing trends and contribute perspective on potential applications.

5. Client and Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Contribute to client-facing materials and presentations, helping translate insights into strategic implications and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and interagency partners, including media, to support integrated solutions.
  • Act as a consistent strategic partner on assigned accounts, grounded in data and thoughtful analysis.
Minimum Requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical advertising or healthcare marketing, within an agency environment. (Client client)
  • Experience supporting digital and omnichannel programs across strategy, measurement, and optimization.
  • Working familiarity with platforms such as Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Veeva, and other CRM and analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into clear recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude) to support research, insight development, or strategic exploration (preferred).
  • Clear, confident communicator with experience working with clients and cross-functional partners.
  • HCP client experience.
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams.
  • Collaborative, thoughtful, and detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
