Job Title: Security Dispatcher


Job Description:

Delta Security Services is seeking a reliable and professional Security Dispatcher to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The dispatcher is responsible for coordinating security personnel, monitoring ongoing incidents, maintaining communication with field staff, and ensuring calls for service are handled efficiently and professionally.


Responsibilities:
Receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency calls from customers, employees, supervisors, and the public
Gather and accurately document information received by telephone, email, and two-way radio communication
Dispatch appropriate personnel and resources to incidents or service requests, including notifying supervisors, police, or fire departments when necessary
Monitor and track the status of ongoing incidents and officer activity
Coordinate communication between field personnel, supervisors, customers, and other agencies
Provide clear and concise instructions to officers and callers when needed
Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation of calls and actions taken
Follow established procedures and protocols for handling incidents and emergencies
Monitor GPS tracking, officer check-ins, and patrol activity throughout the shift


Qualifications:
Previous dispatch, security, customer service, or emergency communications experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficient with computer systems, dispatch software, email, and two-way radio communication
Experience with report writing and documentation preferred
Knowledge of conflict management and de-escalation techniques preferred
Must possess a valid Arizona Guard Card
