On behalf of our security client, Procom is searching for a Security Technician for a permanent role. This position is an onsite position at our client's Essex Junction, Vermont office.
Security Technician - Job Description:
Join our client in enhancing safety, security, and communication through innovative technology solutions. As a Security Technician, you will be involved in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced security systems, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence.
Security Technician - Responsibilities:
โ€ข Assist in the installation and configuration of physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
โ€ข Pull and route low-voltage cables to support security systems installation, ensuring organization and adherence to safety standards
โ€ข Collaborate with the installation team for smooth system integration within data centers
โ€ข Support the physical installation of security devices, including mounting and connecting equipment
โ€ข Install and secure electrical conduit and cable trays according to design specifications
โ€ข Assist in troubleshooting issues related to security system installations
โ€ข Work closely with electricians and network specialists to coordinate installation activities
โ€ข Follow safety regulations and procedures on the job site
โ€ข Maintain accurate installation records and ensure quality control
Security Technician - Mandatory Skills:
