Job description

Due to tremendous growth, our Security division is currently seeking an experienced Electronic Security Technician.

Primary Objectives of Position:

  • Accountable for the proper and timely installation of commercial electronic security systems, including access control, IP video, Intrusion Alarm, and other low voltage systems.
  • Installation of wire and conduit, system devices, terminations, programming, troubleshooting and repair, and overall project installation requirements to ensure quality work, client satisfaction and profit objectives.
  • Program electronic security systems per the specifications and design while meeting code requirements.
  • Complete and process all project documentation and reports, update design drawings, etc. in a thorough, neat, and timely manner upon project completion.
  • Perform service on security systems in a timely, professional, and quality manner.
  • Consult with salespeople on project technical requirements for accurate proposals.
  • Present self to all customers in a professional manner to create and maintain good customer relations.
  • Participate in education and training classes.


Education and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelors’ or technical degree preferred
  • Experience installing Electronic Security systems to commercial end users preferred
  • Knowledge of access control, IP video, Intrusion, and other low voltage systems preferred
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Highly motivated and success driven.
  • Must have ability to work independently to handle a variety of situations encountered and be disciplined to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license & pass pre-employment drug screening & background checks
