Salary Range: $33.00-$37.00 an hour
Position Overview:
RapidFire Safety & Security is searching for a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing security alarms, fire alarms, access control systems, and video surveillance equipment. The Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients' systems are operating at optimal levels and providing prompt and efficient support when issues arise.
Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and program security alarms, fire alarms, access control systems, and video surveillance equipment according to specifications and industry standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and testing of security systems to ensure functionality and compliance with regulations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with security systems, including alarms, sensors, cameras, and control panels.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, wiring, or equipment to restore system functionality promptly.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams regarding system operation, troubleshooting procedures, and preventive maintenance.
  • Document all service activities, including installations, maintenance tasks, repairs, and upgrades, accurately and thoroughly.
  • Collaborate with sales and project management teams to ensure seamless integration of new installations and upgrades.
  • Stay current with advancements in security technology, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to continuously improve service quality and effectiveness.

Qualifications:
