Job description

Position Title: Security Service Technician

Duration: 03 Months with possibility of extension

Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80915

Shift hours: 01 shift hours; Mon- Fri

Description:

Perform Installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting activities on Intrusion Alarm Systems, Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, Network infrastructure; PA Systems, Fire Alarm, and other PC based Systems.

Responsibilities

Perform troubleshooting and service activities on Security related equipment for medium to large commercial clients

Complete “As Built” drawings upon the completion of the project

Complete reports for submission to customers and carry out system acceptance tests with AHJ’s and other interested parties

Maintain up to date knowledge of various product lines

Consult with Clients to assess risk and to determine Security requirements

Required Qualification:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 8-10 years’ experience installing and inspecting/repairing Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product line.

Experience with Card Access/CCTV/IP camera

Certifications in access control, burglar alarm, or video systems

Excellent communication skills.

Electrical/Electronic background.

Valid driver's license.

Must be able to climb ladders and lift heavy equipment

Required Preferred

Fire alarm experience required.

Some college preferred.

NICET II or greater required.

US Marshall's certification preferred.
