Job description

Birdi Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Security Systems Administrator with expert-level Bosch BVMS Enterprise experience and strong CCTV background to support mission-critical security infrastructure in a federal environment.

This is a hands-on, non-entry-level role focused on maintaining, optimizing, and securing enterprise video surveillance (CCTV) systems, with additional responsibility across integrated access control and intercom platforms.

U.S. Citizenship is required due to government system access.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Bosch BVMS Enterprise (expert-level required)
  • Manage and optimize enterprise CCTV/video surveillance systems
  • Administer and maintain Commend and Aiphone video intercom systems
  • Support Monitor Dynamics (MDI) and Software House CCURE platforms
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across video, access control, and intercom systems
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management aligned with federal standards
  • Ensure system uptime, cybersecurity compliance, and performance optimization
  • Support integrations between VMS, access control, and intercom systems
  • Work within secure network environments (IP-based systems, VLANs, segmentation)
  • Maintain documentation for compliance, audits, and inspections
  • Collaborate with federal stakeholders, IT teams, and security personnel

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in security systems administration or integration
  • Expert-level Bosch BVMS Enterprise experience (REQUIRED)
  • Bosch certification strongly preferred / required
  • Strong CCTV/video surveillance experience (REQUIRED)
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level physical security systems
  • Familiarity with federal or regulated environments
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MDI and Software House CCURE
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, VLANs, secure architectures)
  • Experience in federal environments (FDA, NIH, DHS) or government contracting
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, FISMA, GxP)
  • Experience integrating VMS, access control, intercom, and intrusion systems
  • Ability to obtain or maintain a Public Trust clearance
