Job description

This position is remote with consistent travel to support our East Coast locations.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the full life cycle of alarm systems, access controls, video cameras, burglary, radio systems and all other types of physical security equipment.
  • Install and service security systems to include but not limited to, access control, intrusion, and CCTV.
  • Coordinate with fire/security vendor for permitting and requirements associated with fire systems and security.
  • Coordinate with door hardware vendors for access control and intrusion installation as needed.
  • Participate in the definition of physical security system standards, required upgrades, maintenance, and day to day operation of all security systems through system integrators or internal resources.
  • Interact and maintain relationships with internal/external working groups to ensure the viability of all security systems helping to ensure minimal business disruption caused by failed or improperly configured systems.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the state-of-the-art security equipment standards and technology encompassing all physical security products.
  • Recommend system solutions to specific security concerns identified through customer requests and security audits.
  • Perform operational processes to ensure security standards are maintained.
  • May act as a primary contact for physical security system emergency management.
  • Review fire system inspection requirements and reports for accuracy. Coordinate service with vendors to ensure SOW is completed and review reports and documentation for completeness.
  • Address issues, review quotes, and aid company locations as it relates to physical security and fire system services.
  • Manage security vendors, coordinate repairs, review documentation including invoicing and required paperwork.
  • Conduct Site Security Reviews, final inspections.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years’ experience with installing and servicing physical security systems and security software.
  • Required: Advanced Stanley PAC and Bosch Technician-knowledgeable of products and software; to include installing, programming and servicing new and existing systems.
  • Proficient in Axis Cameras and Exacq Vision Client Software
  • Experience working with information technology security application and practices.

Travel Required: Yes. up to 25%
