As an Airport Security Officer: Part Time CCTV in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.   • Requirements 

    • Valid Driver's License
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
    • 21+ years of age
    • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
    • Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
    • Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
    • NOTE: First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and airport personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established airport and government facility protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, access points, parking facilities, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, access-control concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
