Job description

We are seeking an Entry-Level Mechanic for assignment in West Melbourne, Florida. The selected candidate will assist in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of wastewater treatment plants and lift stations.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
This position may have a rotational on-call schedule
This position requires a Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
Responsibilities???????
  • Operate equipment for the rehabilitation of manholes and maintenance of the collection system
  • Responds to and resolves customer complaints
  • Performs record keeping/data entry
  • Record daily reading of equipment and processes
  • Cleans and maintains facilities buildings and grounds
  • Repairs yards following maintenance procedures
  • Monitors inventory of parts supplies and chemicals
  • Assists in the inspection processes of sewer lines and manholes
  • Assist in the maintenance and operations of the CCTV inspection system
  • Occasionally assists in the location of utility lines
  • Assist in Asset Management and Maintenance Programs Repairs and maintain sewer lines, manholes and lift stations
  • May respond after hours to emergency situations

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools
