Job description

Position Overview:
The Video & Data Analyst is the backbone of our operations department. Analysts are responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and analyzing transaction data, video feed, financial reports and social media reviews for numerous establishments. This may include: restaurants, bars, hotels, convenience stores, trades, etc.
Analysts have a thorough understanding of the businesses we support and find ways to bring value to our clients every day. 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Monitor, review and analyze video surveillance and point-of sales (POS) transaction data for discrepancies, internal theft, fraud, etc.
  • Analyze business trends through video surveillance to determine ways the business can improve sales, customer counts, shrink, profits, and the customer experience.
  • Monitor for social media reviews through numerous platforms for useful information tied to sales, brand reputation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Compile and deliver reports of findings with detailed information and still pictures.
  • Conduct pre-delivery reviews of reports for accuracy and value, utilizing discretion and independent judgement.
  • Meets deadlines and deliverables consistently, while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests from clients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, psychology, criminal justice, finance, mathematics, or a related field is required.
  • Experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, human resources, customer service, legal services, or consulting is preferred. Prior experience in hospitality or retail is encouraged.
  • Experience utilizing CCTV video surveillance is a plus. 
  • Proficient with MS Office applications.
  • Demonstrates discretion; understands the importance of sensitive and confidential material.
  • Strong attention to detail with an investigative mindset; enjoys identifying issues, uncovering patterns, and delivering actionable insights to clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
