Working with local and global companies, Skills brings opportunities to neighborhoods and municipalities throughout the Chicagoland area. To be eligible for Skills for Chicago services, candidates must reside in Illinois or Indiana, be authorized to work in the United States, and be either unemployed or underemployed.

Job Highlights
  • Provide excellent customer service to all patrons, including assisting with directions and answering general inquiries 
  • Ensure smooth access for patrons, visitors, and vendors as needed 
  • Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to prevent theft and maintain a welcoming environment 
  • Maintain accurate logs concerning individuals, property, and packages. 
  • Respond promptly to incidents, including emergencies, and document them thoroughly for building and Titan Security management 

Candidate Profile
  • A valid Illinois PERC card or willingness to obtain one is required
  • 6+ months of previous customer service or hospitality experience is required
  • Available to work a combination of 2 full shifts (1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd)
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
  • Capability to perform patrol duties, including walking up to 5 miles, climbing stairs, lifting 50+ lbs., and working in all weather conditions is essential
  • Relevant soft skills include reading, writing, and speaking English
