Job description

IMG is hiring an Application Developer for a role supporting our customer in Washington, DC on-site. They will support both the delivery and ongoing maintenance of custom workflow applications that enable and streamline critical business processes. This role is responsible for the full application lifecycle, including requirements documentation, development, testing, deployment, and defect resolution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment to ensure reliable, high-quality workflow solutions that meet business needs. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement both new applications and/or databases and enhancements for existing applications and/or databases based on requirements identified in the product backlog
Develop and execute test plans, leveraging automated testing tools when possible, to validate functional requirements are met
Draft and revise end-user operational instructions and other technical program documentation as needed for new or revised applications
Provide maintenance support, including resolution of defects and enhancement requests, for existing applications based on documented requirements
Qualifications
โ€‹โ€‹3+ years of experience in application development to include the following: โ€‹Proficiency in common programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or others depending on environment). โ€‹Experience with modern development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, .NET, Django, Spring Boot). Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, DevOps). Experience in MySQL database operations Active DoD Secret security clearance or equivalent
