Job description

Job Description
Overview
The Salesforce Developer supports the continued growth and enhancement of the Salesforce ecosystem by delivering new features, improving existing functionality and ensuring alignment with industry best practices. This role collaborates with business and technical teams to design, build and implement scalable Salesforce solutions. The developer will work under the guidance of the Senior Salesforce Technical Architect.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Flows and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
  • Ensure all solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices, coding standards and architectural guidelines.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing and deployment activities.
  • Support data modeling, integrations and data migrations between Salesforce and external systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, bugs and performance concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce seasonal releases and recommend platform enhancements.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, configuration notes and process flows.

Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
    or equivalent professional experience.
Experience
  • 2-4 years of Salesforce development experience.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in:
    • Apex Classes & Triggers
    • Flows & Process Automation
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    • Declarative tools (Process Builder, Validation Rules, Custom Objects, etc.)
  • Familiarity with:
    • Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, Data Loader, ETL tools)
    • Salesforce security (roles, profiles, permission sets)
Methodology
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Soft Skills
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce Developer I and Administrator certifications (required).
  • Salesforce Developer II certification (preferred).
  • Experience with version control and deployment tools such as Copado, Git, or DevOps Center.
  • Familiarity with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
