This is a full-time, onsite career opportunity based out of our Downtown Lebanon location in Lebanon, PA.

Performs the multiple tasks necessary for the preparation, scanning, indexing and retention of Commercial, Consumer and Residential Mortgage loan documentation.


  • Provides widespread, efficient access to loan documentation in the Enterprise Content Management System through the indexing process by populating required keyword fields accurately and choosing the correct document type name to assign to each document making for easy image retrieval. Indexing is completed within accepted time standards.
  • Carries out loan scanning process by receiving, identifying and separating loan documents for scanning. Scans all prepared loan documents using specialized high speed scanners in conjunction with document capture software. Focuses on and ensures image quality by conducting thorough quality reviews of all loan document images before they are indexed.
  • Supports Records Management Retention guidelines by identifying and acting on the retention requirements of each loan document by securely archiving those documents that require retention and providing for the timely destruction of those documents that do not require hardcopy retention. Maintaining an orderly file room, ensuring that all loan files are secured in accordance with specified Service Level Agreements. Ensuring file integrity by adding retainable loan documents to the customer file throughout the life of the loan, retrieving paid out, charged off and requested loan files and documents and distributing them to the appropriate parties for processing. Arranging for secure shipping of loan documents and files to requestors and maintaining a check in and check out system to carefully track the location of files that leave the file room and responding to loan file and document scanning requests within departmental guidelines.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of scanner settings and functions, conducts regular cleaning and maintenance on all scanning equipment and troubleshoots basic scanner problems. Maintains working knowledge of document capture software.
  • Uses alternate means of electronic document ingestion when original documentation is provided in an electronic format.
  • Processes requests for official checks from Loan Operations employees on a daily basis. Keeps accurate records regarding the production, inventory and distribution of checks.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent. Specialty: Does not apply at this level of education. (Required)

Experience

6 to 12 months PC and Keyboard experience; Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel. (Required)

The hourly rate for this position is $16.75 - $22.40.
