Job description

Scaffolding Foreman is the Crew Leader directing and managing scaffolding crews on jobsites to erect and dismantle scaffolding structures for safe elevated worker access Working Safely is critically important for all employees.ย ย The Foreman position is a significant and important role responsible for all crew-membersโ€™ Safety, proper installation of the scaffolding, crew productivity, and building the scaffolding to meet OSHA standards and customer work access requirements.ย ย 

Basic Skills Criteria

โ€ข Needs Basic Scaffolding Knowledge

โ€ข Needs to be able to start and complete erection of scaffolding squarely, leveled, to all required safety standards.

โ€ข Needs to have knowledge on all aspects of proper scaffolding installation.

โ€ข Have the ability to communicate on the jobsite with fellow crew members and understand equipment needs and coordinate material movement on the project.

โ€ข Ensure safe operations at all jobsites with assigned employees in full compliance with Companyโ€™s safety program and all regulatory requirements.

โ€ข Minimum 3 yearsโ€™ experience as a crew leader with system scaffolding.ย

โ€ข Physically fit, able to climb scaffolding and lift, handle, pass, and carry 75 pounds. (50-pounds for female candidates)

โ€ข Safety track-record without major incidents in previous employment.

โ€ข High School graduates/GED preferred.

โ€ข Candidatesโ€™ must provide their own steel-toe boots.
