Job description

Role Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Lead Salesforce Developer to drive the design, development, and enhancement of Salesforce solutions supporting enterprise business capabilities and customer experiences. This role will serve as the senior technical lead for Salesforce development efforts, partnering closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, strong experience with Salesforce integrations into Azure environments (APIM), and hands-on development experience building enterprise-grade Salesforce applications and APIs. This individual will also support emerging capabilities around Agentforce (Salesforce AI) to improve customer and internal user experiences.
This is a highly technical, hands-on leadership role focused on solution delivery and development, not architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Development & Technical Leadership

  • Lead the hands-on design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Develop scalable, maintainable Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and Platform Events.
  • Own technical delivery for Salesforce enhancements, integrations, and custom development initiatives.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with platform best practices.
  • Review code, establish development standards, and mentor other Salesforce developers to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Salesforce production issues while continuously improving platform performance and scalability.

Integration & Cloud Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and Azure-based systems, leveraging Azure API Management (APIM) and enterprise APIs.
  • Build and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture, and API-led connectivity patterns.
  • Collaborate with enterprise integration teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reusable integration frameworks.
  • Partner with teams supporting identity and access management, authentication, and secure API connectivity (OAuth, SAML, SSO).

Salesforce Platform & AI Enablement

  • Support and optimize Salesforce Agentforce (AI) capabilities to improve workflows, automation, and customer engagement experiences.
  • Partner with business and product teams to identify opportunities for automation and enhanced user experience through Salesforce capabilities.
  • Ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices for performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.

Agile Delivery & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and cross-functional engineering teams in an Agile/SAFe environment.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, technical estimation, and release planning.
  • Provide technical leadership across the software development lifecycle, from requirements through deployment and support.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Salesforce development experience, including enterprise-scale implementations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, Triggers, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and Azure integration services, specifically Azure API Management (APIM).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce integration patterns, APIs, and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience working with Azure Cloud environments and cloud-based integrations.
  • Knowledge of authentication and identity protocols including OAuth, SAML, SSO, and MFA.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Git, and Salesforce deployment tools.
  • Experience working in Agile and/or SAFe delivery environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Salesforce Agentforce / AI capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (Dev 1) Certification
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II (Dev 2) Certification
  • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and advanced case management workflows
  • Prior experience in enterprise environments with complex API and cloud integrations.
  • Experience mentoring junior developers or leading technical delivery teams.
