With over 30 years of experience in the US Residential Solar industry, we deliver an all-in-one solar solution that supports the transition to clean energy.

SunPower continues to grow through strategic acquisitions of leading solar companies. These have included SunPower, Blue Raven Solar, Complete Solar, and Sunder Energy. These transitions bring together the strengths, expertise, and shared commitment to making clean energy simpler and more accessible for everyone.

Benefits:

  • Employee RSU Awards program
  • Quarterly & Annual bonus program (based on performance)
  • Competitive coverage for Health, Dental, and Vision insurance
  • PTO/DTO for full-time employees
  • 10 paid holidays
  • Fully stocked breakroom with snacks, drinks, breakfast, and company provided lunch once a week!
  • Ping pong and Corn hole in office
  • CanyonPark Perks: Access to a gym, pickleball & basketball courts, outside patio areas, food trucks, and more!

Position Summary:

The Salesforce Architect owns the technical architecture and roadmap for SunPower's Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring the platform scales cleanly to support sales, service, and operations across a growing, multi-brand organization. This role partners with business stakeholders and developers to design solutions that are secure, maintainable, and built for long-term growth rather than one-off fixes.

Essential Duties:

  • Own the end-to-end technical architecture of SunPower's Salesforce org(s), including data model, security model, and integration architecture.
  • Translate business requirements from Sales, Service, and Operations into scalable, well-documented Salesforce solutions.
  • Lead design and code review for custom development (Apex, Lightning Web Components, flows) built by internal and contract developers.
  • Define and enforce Salesforce governance standards: environment strategy, release management, and change control.
  • Architect integrations between Salesforce and other core systems (NetSuite, marketing automation, telephony, etc.).
  • Evaluate and recommend AppExchange packages versus custom builds, balancing speed, cost, and long-term maintainability.
  • Own technical debt reduction and platform health, including managing org complexity as SunPower integrates newly acquired companies.
  • Partner with the VP of IT and business stakeholders to set the Salesforce roadmap and prioritize the backlog.
  • Mentor junior Salesforce admins/developers and support their growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including at least 3 years in an architect-level role.
  • Salesforce Application Architect and/or System Architect certification (or equivalent depth of experience) required; additional certifications (Platform Developer II, Sales Cloud/Service Cloud Consultant) a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce data modeling, security architecture, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow.
  • Demonstrated experience to include AI native to SFDC or from outside software to link into SDFC
  • Proven experience designing integrations between Salesforce and external systems via REST/SOAP APIs or middleware.
  • Experience supporting a Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud implementation at scale, ideally in a multi-entity or acquisitive company.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders as well as engineers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Regular periods of sitting or standing may be required by this position.
