Position Summary: The Sales Operations Manager is primarily focused on managing the Inside Sales teams and processes. This includes ensuring the Inside Sales teams use Company tools, manage customers, build new relationships, boost margins, and overall ensure that our customer service teams drive a world-class customer experience.

What you will do:

Sales & Operations Management:

  • Review Branch Operations Cockpit in Eclipse: including inventory adjustments, hold file, negative on-hand items, pricing overrides and alerts, check for disputed transfers, and any large fluctuations from the previous day
  • Run and review material with no bin locations
  • Send requests for segment SPA's to the Pricing Manager to vet
  • Follow up with the pricing team on deal sheets for customers
  • Work with PLM's (Product Line Managers) on minimum stocking quantities & lost sales reports
  • Review previous UET reports from the Quality department
  • Create UET's (Unquality Event Tracker) when deliveries, receiving problems, or dispatch issues arise
  • Manage Job Queues daily
  • Fill in as a backup Account Representative if someone is out
  • Review fraud prevention reports from the credit department daily
  • Setup L&L trainings with Key Supplier & Lighting manufacturers
  • Work with the Regional Credit Managers & the Director of Credit on receiving outstanding payments from delinquent customers
  • Complete safety training/meetings every month with the Safety Manager
  • Coordinate with the Operations Specialist to clean up any outstanding issue

People Management:

  • Manage and Lead the Inside Sales team
  • Establish team and individual goals, and hold individuals accountable for meeting expectations
  • Work with the Inside Sales team to improve margin whenever possible
  • Review and Approve: branch expenses, expense reimbursements, timecards, and time off requests
  • Promote a collaborative culture by modeling the 10 Principles of Personal Leadership

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4-year college or University; or
  • 3-5 years of electrical distribution experience and/or training; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Location: This role will be required to be in person at the Fresno location 3 days per week, and 2 days at the Turlock location.

Salary Range:

  • This exempt position pays between $83,800.00 - $125,000.00. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
