Position: Mechanical Sales Engineer
Location: Raleigh, NC
Company: HVAC Service Provider
Description: This is an exciting direct hire opportunity to work with an established company dedicated to growth, safety, and development. The Mechanical Sales Engineer will drive the development of commercial HVAC, energy efficiency, controls, and capital improvement projects. This customer facing role combines mechanical/HVAC expertise with consultative sales, business development, project development, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial HVAC, building automation/controls, energy services, or technical sales, with strong communication and relationship building skills. This position will work closely with customers, sales, engineering, and operations teams to identify opportunities, develop solutions, prepare proposals, and help close projects.
Requirements:
--Bachelor"s degree in engineering, construction management, energy management, business strongly preferred.
--10+ years in Mechanical Engineering Sales or related field with 20+ years in the industry.
--Must have experience working on commercial, manufacturing, industrial, hospital/healthcare, or laboratory projects.
--Must have experience with financial and ROI analyses.
--Must have client facing and mentorship experience.
--Knowledge of BAS/Controls required.
