The Team You’ll Join  

Given the current team structure, the Senior Sales Engineer also contributes to foundational Sales Engineering responsibilities such as RFP coordination, demo asset development, and sales enablement materials. Success in this role requires strong technical acumen, a consultative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong understanding of industry trends and product capabilities. Success requires strong technical credibility, a consultative mindset, and the ability to confidently engage enterprise clients while influencing internal teams.

How You’ll Contribute   

 Partners with the Sales colleagues in the development and closing of sales opportunities. Serves as technical subject matter expert for the sales team on Envestnet product and service offerings. Assists in all components of the sales cycle from discovery to close. Designs solutions that achieve business and financial goals as well as meet or exceed client business and functional requirements. Evaluates product performance, client needs and client satisfaction, providing feedback to product teams to ensure continuous improvement and enhancement of the company's product portfolio. Conducts live and remote demonstrations and makes presentations to prospective clients clearly articulating the value proposition. On large enterprise deals may collaborate through implementation to ensure success and revenue recognition.

• Partners directly with sales teams to support active opportunities through technical discovery and solution design.
• Delivers product demonstrations tailored to client needs and workflows.
• Translates client requirements into proposed configurations and solution architectures.
• Responds to RFPs, RFIs and technical due diligence requests.
• Collaborates with product and engineering teams to validate feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Supports proof-of-concept engagements and pilot programs.
• Builds and maintains reusable demo scenarios and technical collateral.
• Creates and delivers technical presentations, demonstrations, and supporting materials for prospects, clients, and internal sales teams. 
• Reviews sales proposals and technical documentation to ensure alignment with client requirements and solution capabilities. 
• Maintains awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to support effective product positioning. 
• Shares knowledge and best practices across the Sales Engineering team to support consistency in client engagements. 

What You’ll Need to Bring  

•    Candidates should demonstrate the relevant experience, skills, and capabilities needed to successfully perform in the role. Relevant experience may be gained through current responsibilities, prior roles, project work, leadership opportunities, or other comparable experiences.
•    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Product Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
•    Experience in financial services or a related industry.
•    Experience in a client-facing, technical sales, sales engineering, product, or solutions role.
•    Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions with clients and translate business requirements into product solutions.
•    Experience supporting complex client engagements in a consultative sales environment.
•    Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and listening skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
•    Proven organizational, multitasking, and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
•    Proactive and motivated learner with a strong interest in developing deeper product, technical, and industry expertise.
•    Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Product, and other internal teams to support successful client outcomes.

Our Investment in You 

This role offers a base salary range of $104,100 to $130,100. The range listed represents a good-faith estimate of base salary compensation for this position and does not include incentive compensation, equity or benefits. Individual pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.  This role is eligible for an additional incentive component as part of the total rewards package.
