FORVIA - HELLA is seeking a dynamic and experienced LightingChief Engineer. The focus of this role will be to work with our OEM partnersand development teams to drive Mechanical, Optical, and electronic developmentfor our lamp programs.

DailyResponsibilities
  • Evaluating technical customer product requirements
  • Steering the creation of product system requirement specification based on the product use-cases
  • Act as an intermediary between our OEM and product engineers to create alignment in a number of domains (subsystems, modules, definition and validation of interface specifications, requirements, system integration, and team collaboration agreements)
  • Managing the product test strategy in alignment with system integration planning

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years experience conducting automotive lighting development
  • Minimum of 3 fully designed lamps from RFQ to production
  • Experience / knowledge in multiple lighting engineering areas (mechanical, optical, electronics)
  • Experience working with OEMs at a high level for current program development
  • Out of the box problem solving abilities
