About the Role

Good Company Doughnuts & Caf is seeking a Catering Sales & Events Manager to grow our corporate catering, in-cafe and mobile events, and wholesale revenue across Northern VA and DC. This is a performance-based sales role focused on building recurring corporate and social accounts, booking profitable food truck events, and maintaining strong gross margins.
Goal: $1M+ within 3 years.

Responsibilities

Prospect and close new corporate and social catering accounts
Build recurring office breakfast, lunch and meeting programs, and relationships with area social / wedding planners
Manage event and food truck bookings
Manage event strategy; lead high-profile events based on GoCo standards of service
Support / lead event execution when required
Maintain 34x pipeline coverage (active pipeline deals > 3x revenue target for period)
Track all activity and deals in CRM (HubSpot)
Protect gross margin
Participate in weekly pipeline and forecast meetings
Develop awareness and knowledge of annual food festivals, events that could include GoCo, wedding and social planners, social media & publications, trends and outlets that can increase business and reputation for GoCo
Attend local organization meetings and events that can provide potential networking and business such as DC Chamber of Commerce, Arlington Chamber of Commerce, NACE
Performance Expectations

3040 outbound meaningful touches per week (cold call, personalized prospecting email, LinkedIn outreach, In-person visits/ meetings, warm introduction, follow-up contact)
58 (client or potential client) meetings per week (in-person)
46 proposals per week
23 truck bookings per week (peak season)
~six figure monthly revenue pace (Year 3 target)

Qualifications

37+ years in B2B sales, catering sales, or hospitality sales
Proven track record closing revenue (personally closed six-figure annual revenue)
Comfortable prospecting and working commission-based comp
Strong organization and CRM discipline
Ability to balance revenue growth and profitability
Self-Motivated
Strong presentation skills demonstrated both verbally and in writing
Present a professional image that represents the reputation of GoCo in dress, behavior, communications and community involvement
