The Strategy & Operations team at Consensus is the high-impact team that drives global Sales Strategy, Analytics, Sales Planning, Learning & Development, and Sales Operations for all revenue driving teams. Within S&O, this individual will focus directly on Revenue & Sales Analytics, and will drive high-impact analysis to (1) assess the trajectory of the business, and (2) identify revenue opportunities and provide actionable recommendations, and (3) present this analysis to senior leadership. Think of this role as part Revenue Analyst and part Strategic Consultant. You'll need strategic thinking to approach and scope out problems, as well as analytics chops to dig in deep into the data.
This role is the perfect training ground for those looking to enter a fast-tracked career in Sales, Analytics, or Strategy.
The value you will deliver...
  • Conduct Sales analysis to identify areas of revenue opportunities & risks
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis
  • Analyze internal metrics - such as revenue, churn, conversion rates - to identify areas of opportunity
  • Create presentations, dashboards, and excel models to communicate insights
  • Present findings to senior audiences including our CEO, CRO, and SVPs.

What you will bring to the table...
  • Prior internship experience in a business related field - whether that be Sales, Analytics, Operations, Consulting, Finance.
  • Degree: Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's (including MBA) in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Timeline: Must meet one of the following criteria:
    • Currently enrolled with less than one year remaining until graduation (e.g., rising seniors or final-year graduate students).
    • Graduated within the last 12 months.
  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce - either hands on or from online learning / course
  • Strong Knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets, demonstrating ability to build complex models.

You will stand out if you also have...
  • In addition to relevant experience above (a must), experience in Consulting or Analytics is also valued.
  • Basic understanding of SQL - either hands on or from online learning / course

Additional details...
  • Location requirements: Fully remote within the U.S. (Los Angeles or Las Vegas preferred.)
  • Travel requirements: Up to 10%, centered around coming to the LA office to meet the team
  • Physical requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods, as well as, handle long periods of screen time
  • Technology requirements: Reliable, high speed internet
  • Eligible for sponsorship: No
  • Target intern date: July 1 - September 30.

The compensation for this role is $18.00 - $27.50 an hour USD This position may be eligible for pre-approved overtime. Also included in this package for this position for compensation considerations may also include ESPP, accrued vacation, sick time, holidays and benefits. This job doesn't have an expiration date and will remain open until a qualified candidate is hired.
