Toyota Financial Services (TFS) is looking for highly motivated Analysts for various open roles across our Analytics teams. The primary focus of the Analyst will be to support data-driven decisions through the acquisition and analysis of data and the effective communication of actionable insights.

This position is based at the Toyota Headquarters in Plano, TX with an expectation to be onsite 2-3 days per week.

Residual Value Risk
  • The Residual Value Risk team is responsible for developing and leading the company's strategic outlook on the used car market, vehicle depreciation rates, and lease residual values.
  • This position will apply advanced analytical skills and business insights to execute the setting of Residual Values for new Toyota, Lexus, and Mazda lease originations. This position suits candidates who have a passion for the automotive industry and a strong understanding of vehicles and products offered in today's market. We are looking for someone who can collect, analyze and report quantitative and qualitative information with the purpose of forecasting used vehicle prices and telling the story behind the data. Ideal candidates have an exceptional attention to detail and an aptitude for solving complex problems.

Sales Analytics
  • The Sales Analytics team delivers data-driven insights to Sales Operations, Credit, and Funding. We partner with stakeholders to improve efficiency in credit decisioning and funding operations, including throughput, cycle times, and process optimization.
  • This role involves building analyses from the ground up, translating complex data into clear insights that inform staffing models, process enhancements, and operational strategy for Credit and Funding partners.
  • Success in this role requires a collaborative mindset, ownership mentality, and drive to continuously elevate both individual and team performance.

Loan Servicing Analytics
  • The Loan Servicing Analytics team's purpose is to help improve operational efficiency in the servicing of our lease and loan customers, to improve customer experience, and to increase customer retention through data-driven actionable insights and recommendations

    • Customer behavior (payments, calls, web and mobile app activity, email & text messages, retention, etc)

    • Partner with Service Operations and other groups to deliver descriptive analytics through dashboards, reports and bespoke data visualizations.
    • Deliver insights on process performance, trends, and performance management metrics.
    • Use Tableau, SQL, and Python to translate business needs into clear, scalable reporting solutions that can support both current priorities and future company initiatives.

  • Continuously improve your analytical, technical, communication, and people skills through offered training and on-the-job experience to prepare for advancement into analytical leadership roles.
  • Developing an understanding for your business area by developing your knowledge of its strategies, processes, policies, and data.

What you bring
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or similar quantitative STEM field.
  • 1+ year of equivalent and relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience coding in SQL (certain Analytics teams also use Python). Coding testing will be conducted in the interview process.
  • Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience using creative and quantitative problem-solving skills with strengths in Data Acquisition, Data Manipulation, and Data Cleaning.
  • Basic statistics knowledge.
  • Experience presenting, including proposing strategic recommendations to management and clearly articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience collaborating with others as well as working independently while in a hybrid work environment.

Added bonus if you have
  • MBA or advanced degree in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or similar quantitative STEM field.
