Job Summary:
Masimo is a company focused on optimizing global Commercial data pipelines and infrastructure. The role involves building and managing data architecture, developing data workflows, and ensuring data integrity to support business insights across various departments.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain the global commercial organization data architecture to align business objectives with technical strategy
• Develop reliable, scalable, and efficient data workflows to ingest, transform, and deliver commercial data for analytics, reporting, and integration with various sales enablement applications/tools
• Develop strategies to integrate disparate data sources and move data from legacy systems and/or offline files to modern platforms
• Develop and define data governance standards to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and alignment with reported financial measures
• Work with stakeholders to collect, analyze, define, and document requirements for data sets, reports, dashboards, metrics, and other business insights
• Support the advancement of commercial analytics capabilities with well-structured data foundations that support advanced analytics and predictive insights
Qualifications:
Required:
• Extensive technical knowledge with expertise in at least one technical language or data management system (e.g. AWS, SQL Server, Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Strong understanding of relational, dimensional, and modern analytics architectures
• Strong understanding of data modeling for analytics (dimensional & semantic layer design) and data governance
• Ability to translate business analytics needs into architecture designs and roadmaps
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL, data modeling, and modern BI reporting tools
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related quantitative or technical field.
