Job description

Viking Aggregates is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive sales growth, develop customer relationships, and expand our market presence. This role is focused on building strategic accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and developing sales strategies that support customer needs and company profitability.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue, volume, and market share.
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, municipalities, and other key customers.
  • Identify new customers, projects, and business opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements
  • Work closely with quarry operations, dispatch and logistics to ensure customer commitments can be met.
  • Monitor market conditions, competition, demand, and pricing trends.
  • Develop sales forecasts and track performance against goals.
  • Represent Viking Aggregates at industry events, pre-bid meetings, and community functions.
  • Support customer service and collection efforts when needed.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of sales experience in aggregates, construction materials, or a related industry.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of aggregate products and customer markets.
  • Excellent communication, relationship building, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid drivers license required.
  • Willingness to travel and work occasional nights/ weekends as needed.
