Join Mapfre as a strategic sales leader where you'll have the opportunity to drive growth, influence market strategy, and build strong partnerships with independent insurance agencies across your territory. In this highly visible role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to agency partners, helping them grow their business while expanding Mapfre's market presence.

As a Senior Territory Sales Manager, you'll develop and execute territory growth plans, analyze business performance, deliver impactful sales strategies, and present meaningful insights that drive results. You'll collaborate with agency decision-makers, promote innovative solutions, and play a key role in strengthening Mapfre's competitive position.

This role also offers the opportunity to mentor and develop Assistant Territory Sales Managers, sharing expertise and helping shape the next generation of sales talent. Responsibilities

  • Drives market strategy and offers thought leadership to internal teams.
  • Supports the development of Asst. TSMs and shares best practices to contribute to their professional development.
  • Build strong agency relationships, ensure profitable growth, and develop and implement business plans.
  • Deliver consultative sales recommendations to increase Mapfre's share of business by managing a full territory of independent insurance agencies.
  • Serves as a trusted consultant to agency leadership, influencing business strategy, building credibility with agency staff to influence decision-makers.
  • Analyze agency performance and translate insights into actionable strategies for growth.
  • Prepare and deliver effective business reviews, sales presentations, and execute growth initiatives.
  • Influence agency partners to adopt Mapfre solutions and support mutual growth.
  • Manage territory priorities and agency segmentation efficiently to optimize results
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with our Technical/State Management Underwriting, Marketing, Services and Claims teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Mapfre products, systems, industry trends, and competitor positioning.
  • Document agency visits, capturing sales-related takeaways and agreements using Salesforce CRM system

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • 6 - 8 years within the Independent Insurance Agency space .
  • 7+ years experience leading field sales.
  • Manages complex agencies and drives revenue growth.
  • Leads strategic initiatives, mentors’ others, and shapes market strategy.
  • Recognized thought leader with advanced expertise in agency consulting.
  • Executes strategic plans.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to the agency.
  • Demonstrates a fully consultative approach by independently driving performance.
  • Strong analytical, time management, teamwork, and communication abilities,
  • Communication centers on task-related matters and include crafting and sharing diverse types of information and messages.

Pay Transparency : The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Salary Range: $ 87,700 - $ 120,500
